Diabetes Education
For people who have had diabetes for three months or longer who desire more information about managing their diabetes successfully. Four and five weekly sessions and two individual follow up visits are included.

| Cost: |
$425 - Medicare, Medicaid, and Premara cover the cost of the class if you have been diagnosed within a year, have had two consecutive HbA1c results of 8.5% or greater, a change in treatment regimen from diet control to oral meds, or from oral meds to insulin, or at high risk for complications based on inadequate glycemic control. Your primary physician must confirm the new diagnosis on a referral form. Be sure to call your insurance regarding coverage. |

Childbirth Classes
Learn techniques to help you and your partner have a more relaxed birth experience. All sessions are six weeks in length. Class size is limited.
 Instructor: Roberta Schott, LPN, ICEA Childbirth Educator, Lactation Educatior, Specialist.
Bring 2 pillows, insurance information, questions and enthusiasm!

Those wishing to take a refresher course may call for special rates and times. Instructors are trained by the ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association).
